Welcome to the University Chaplaincy in Stockholm

The University chaplaincy offers a place to meet new friends, talk about life and maybe find a place for your spiritual needs. Welcome to contact us and to participate in our activities.

The University chaplaincy comes from different churches and different traditions of christian faith. Among the staff of the University Chaplaincy of Stockholm, we represent Church of Sweden (lutheran) and Uniting Church in Sweden (covenant church, baptist- and methodist church). We have also good relations to other denominations and religions.

We are working for a community where everyone should feel welcome, seen and loved for their own sake. We believe that the right to live according to one's sexual orientation or gender identity is a fundamental human right. Therefore, we have chosen to take a clear stand for the equal value of all, before God and before other people, regardless of gender or sexual orientation, religion or ethnicity.

Swedish DINNERS

Welcome to Sweden!

Meet other students in a relaxed way and at the same time get to know Sweden by eating traditional food together.

We gather once a month, on a Thursday night, for dinner.

Are you interested you can contact Anna Berndes.

Counseling

Sometimes we need to stop and reflect on life. Being able to do it with an outsider can be nice. We pastors, priests and counselers within the University Chaplaincy offer counseling, individually or in groups to students regardless of background and faith. We have professional secrecy and it is free of charge.

If you are in need of talking with someone due to a life issue or if you are struggling to cope, please contact one of us.
